The Bridges of Madison County

Daniel Session Stephens returns to CTP to direct this new musical, based on the novel by Robert James Waller. The Bridges of Madison County  is a moving love story about a photographer on assignment to shoot the historic bridges. He meets Francesca, whose husband and children are away on a trip. Bridges  traces a brief affair of two soul mates who have met too late. The lush score and dynamic book create a enchanting theatrical experience.

Lauren Gunderson's intriguing drama of Henrietta Leavitt, one of the first female  astronomers, is directed by Susan Aversa-Orrego. It is 1900 and Henrietta has taken the leap of moving from her safe family home to Harvard University to map the stars under the mentorship of Dr. Edward Pickering. Dubbed "Pickerings Harem," the women who were to

chart the sky were brilliant scientists who were never given scientifi c credit. This warm, lovely script is as moving as it is thought-provoking.

Directed by Todd Nielsen (who directed Million Dollar Quartet  in 2018 at the Oregon Cabaret Theatre). “Death” is unable to relate to humans, so he takes the form of Prince Nikolai, and tries life as a person. Women are instantly attracted to the charming Prince but as they get closer to him, they become frightened. When Nikolai saves the beautiful Grazia, Death finally learns what it means to love.

Directed by Oregon Cabaret Theatre's Managing Director, Rick Robinson. Set in the fictional Irish village of Ballybeg. Lughnasa  is the winner of multiple Tony and Olivier Awards. Dancing at Lughnasa is told from the perspective of Michael, who recalls one summer he spent at his aunts' home when he was seven years old. The five Mundy sisters are depicted at the moment when life begins to pull them in diff erent directions. This stunning drama is a powerful recreation of a lost time.
